LEED Certification

Alliance has become a member of USGBC (U. S. Green Building Counsel) and is LEED certified, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System, that is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. And in all our work, we focus keenly on new ways to minimize our environmental impact while conserving energy. Just a few of the emerging technologies our partners are involved with are biomass, biogas, wind power, solar energy and water recycling for irrigation.

The LEED program provides independent environmental certification and is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. It promotes a whole-building approach based on sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. Alliance is proud of our association with participating partners, and we support the goals and efforts of the LEED program.
